Tell Me S'More is a super cute set of Back to School task cards for sale at my TPT store! What better way for students to learn about their classmates than these cute theme based task cards! Your students will be hungry for S'More!

Tell Me S'More has 32 task cards that will help students learn about each other. What fun!

Students complete the task card record sheet by answering the 32 questions found on the task cards. I would suggest placing the cards on desks and tables and have students go from one to another to complete. This activity is great for Scoot!

Scoot is where numbered cards are placed on desks, etc. Students are given a certain amount of time then the teacher says, "Scoot!' Students move to the next card (desk) and so on until cards are completed. This is usually done in sequential order. Students usually start with the card in front of them, then move to the next.

For a variation, this could be a small group or individual activity too.

When finished, you could make s'mores for your students. I buy marshmallow creme in a jar, remove the lid and heat it in the microwave. I smear it on a graham cracker. I sprinkle a few chocolate chips on top. Last, top with another graham cracker, yum!
Students share information on their record sheet. This helps them to get to know more about each other.Check them out at https://www.teacherspayteachers.com/Product/Tell-Me-SMore-Task-Cards-Getting-to-Know-You-Back-to-School-1954739 .
Take a look at my Behavior Bananza Classroom Management System. Check it out the details at Teachers Pay Teachers https://www.teacherspayteachers.com/Product/Behavior-Bananza-Behavior-Chart-Behavior-System-2033798
Improve class attendance and behaviors with this system. Students earn bananza bucks and coins based on their behaviors. These are redeemed for a weekly class party. My students just love this program since it gives them incentives to do their best in school!
Every classroom should have rules posted that are simple as well as easy to read and follow.
Check out my Classroom Rules Posters in chevron and black and white. These rules are simply stated in two word sentences. The links are:

I just love these cute monkey themed Language Arts Learning Stations! I titled them Lickety-Split Stations. The name was chosen due to them being ready to go in a hurry!

There are several with each set. They cover these skills:
sentences, homophones, contractions, prefixes, and suffixes. I am working on many more.

Exploring Numbers is a cute math activity and worksheet that I made to help my fourth grade students with place value. You can find it at my Teachers Pay Teachers store.
Students draw numbers. A six, seven, eight or nine digit number is created based on how many digit cards you have your students draw. The teacher decides in advance how many numbers should be drawn. As they are drawn, write them on the board in the order they are drawn. Add commas. Students write this number on their Number to Explore Worksheet. They then all use the same number to complete the tasks inside each box on the worksheet.

This activity could be used as low as third grade by creating smaller numbers.

You can do this activity daily, weekly or when you choose. I do this activity with my class once a week.It helps them remember such concepts/skills such as odd, even, prime, composite, place value, creating number sentences, rounding, multiples, multiplying, factors, expanded form, word form, and exponential form.

The download includes number cards, a worksheet to duplicate, and a sample of what a completed worksheet should look like.
